Small wedding bouquets trend

Of course big bouquets are stunning and striking and I really have a crush on them. But my motto is; (if I could be bothered to have one) your wedding, your way. Recently, I am being asked for minimalist, small wedding bouquets more often. The small bouquet look became more popular after Kate married William. Apart from the fact that these small wedding bouquets are totally adorable, they can sometimes work out more cost effective, depending on the choice of flowers. They really suit the more dinky of brides and can distract less from the wedding dress. You may also find them easier to carry.

So, if you are that couple thinking about going petite and beautiful with your bouquet then you’re in luck. I’ve put together a collection of some of my own creations, a handful of small wedding bouquets from my South Wales weddings that would be perfect for any wedding style. Read on for some inspiration

Pretty and bold small wedding bouquets

If you are looking for a wedding bouquet that is small and simple and is completely different from the traditional then look no further. Rebecca wanted a small, compact bouquet of just a few ingredients. She wanted it to be bold and make a statement. The beautiful white lizianthus and gypsophilia contrasting with the blue eryngium and pops of yellow craspedia hit the right notes. Bold and stunning just like this wonderful bride.

Elegant small wedding bouquet

Simple, small wedding bouquets can be romantic and elegant. With the right details, you can create a clutch of flowers that’s dainty and yet extremely gorgeous. Here the sweet tanacetum daisies sit with the larger lecanthemum daisy. For the seasonal elements I used these delicate white iris and the beautifully scented paperwhite narcissi, one of my absolute favourites. The overall look was delicate and elegant.

Small Colourful Bouquets For A Rustic Wedding

This stunning bouquet features an organic mix of colourful summer blooms. Lauren was married at the beautiful Rosedew Farm and wanted her bouquet to reflect these natural surroundings. She didn’t want the bouquet to overwhelm her petite frame. The flexed tulips are the stars of the show but blend perfectly with the daisies, cornflowers, chamelaucium, lizianthus, freesias and more. A little wild meadow in bouquet form. It was such a pretty bouquet and really suited Lauren.

Timeless classical small bouquet

This bouquet was perfect for a late Summer wedding. The simple colour palette and small design is exactly what the wonderful Jennie wanted. Although this bouquet was designed with all white flowers and a little pop of lavender it was not boring at all. Full of texture with roses, scabiosa, astrantia and spray roses. This bouquet shows that the classical choice of white flowers works perfectly for every season and style.

Stylish small wedding bouquet

This beautiful bouquet was created for a small intimate wedding ceremony. I chose the flowers in Nirosha’s bridal bouquet carefully because of her allergies. I used a variety of low-allergen flowers in beautiful shades of pinks and creams. It was so pretty and really complimented her beautiful bridal gown.
