I have the most beautiful Margam Orangery wedding flowers to share with you today. Stacey and Will were married on a beautiful, summers day, in one of the most stunning wedding venues in South Wales. Margam Orangery is a luxury wedding venue and a venue dear to my heart, after all it is where I was married many moons ago. The Orangery is long and narrow with a series of twenty seven tall windows to let in the light, superb for all weathers and seasons; the perfect backdrop for some stunning wedding pictures.

The beautiful Stacey and Will chose a wedding theme of timeless elegance with a myriad of white wedding flowers to transform their special day into a celebration of pure sophistication and romance. There is a reason why an all white wedding theme will never go out of fashion and this wedding is a perfect showcase. These beautiful images by Tayla and Co Photography best show the timeless allure of elegant white wedding flowers. Elegant white wedding bridal flowers

Stacey wanted classical, all white wedding flowers. Quite compact in design but with lots of textures and variety of flowers and little to no foliage. If you know anything about my natural style I prefer to use a lot of texture so I was thrilled to create these wedding flowers.

I selected the perfect white blooms for Stacey using some popular choices for weddings - such as ‘avalanche’ roses, ‘bowl of cream’ peonies, white dahlia and dianthus. Alongside these classic flowers I also used lesser-known varieties, the delicate touch of nigella, commonly known as ‘love in the mist’ and one of my favourites, astrantia.

The bridesmaids carried smaller versions of the bridal bouquet.

Margam Orangery wedding ceremony flowers

To create a cohesive and harmonious look throughout the day Stacey and Will chose to decorate Margam Orangery with the same elegant all white flowers. The ceremony area was framed with large urns of overflowing white flowers, here I used magnum chrysanthemums, antirrhinums and foliage to add drama and height to the designs. These were then repurposed to sit behind the top table to add further floral decoration to that space.

The arrangement on the registry table in a simple white ceramic bowl complimented the all white flower design. This entire wedding was designed without the use floral foam, whenever possible I will not use floral foam. The ceremony room at Margam Orangery is such a wonderful room to decorate. It has that ability of looking equally as beautiful with large, lavish displays as it does with more subtle decorations.

This ‘horse shoe’ table design for the reception flowers was a superb way to present the elegant white wedding flowers. The trestle tables were decorated with additional white floral elements in bud vases that ran the length of the tables. White ceramic bowls of all white blooms were used to give more impact to the tables.

The top table was decorated with the same small designs, reusing the bridal bouquets and placing the large urn displays behind the bride and groom, making a beautiful backdrop. This is a great way to make the most of your wedding flowers.

The magical effect of soft candlelight with the tapered candles and tea lights helped to enhance the beauty of the white wedding flowers.

This Margam Orangery wedding was such a joy to work on. The venue is always such a wonderful space to dress, with the stunning windows and beautiful grounds it really is hard to beat.

Spring ceremony flowers and no floral foam. Do you want to learn something? Florists often use floral foam to create these type designs. Foam is plastic which isn't biodegradable and the green dust ends up in our oceans. I haven't used foam in any of these designs. Reusable chicken wire, water tubes and reusable glass jars.
